Adoption News!

Finally some news...our Home Study was approved by Gladney! I'm so excited...this is one step closer! This good news couldn't have come at a better time...I have just been feeling like nothing is happening with our adoption...sometimes it feels as though we are sitting still! We are still waiting for our final approval from Gladney...hopefully that will be soon! Only thing is...we have lots of money to come up with...keep us in your prayers!

Memory Walk 2010

My family participates in the Alzheimer's Memory Walk every year in memory of my dad. I love seeing my kids take part in this special day...even though they never got to meet their Pappaw Hoss...I hope they will always know how much he is loved and missed by our family!

Watch Out David Beckham!

Well today was Asa's first soccer game...and I must say I was very impressed! He has never played before...we've never even watched a game on T.V., so I was just happy to see him kick the ball and go in the right direction(most of the time). The team has only had a couple of practices but they really did a great job...I was very proud of them! Not only did they play well....they looked SUPER CUTE in their uniforms!

Labor Day Fun!

Today was just a fun day....in the dirt! We took the kids to Cedartown today to ride(first stopping for a healthy lunch at Krystal...there is nothing better than a hot, fresh Krystal...yes I said it)!
I know dirt is usually for boys but I must say I had a great time watching my kids make some dust at the motocross track! They had a couple of falls but I was very proud of them for getting back up and trying again(after some persuasion) After seeing some moms out there on dirt bikes I just might have to get one for myself...Kelly will definitely need to take out a bigger life insurance policy on me!
